B.W. WELLS ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING

• 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. –  catered pig picking lunch.  *members only*
• 2:00 - 2:30 – Brief business meeting. 
       *Keynote speaker*
• 2:30 p.m. – Guided tours of Rock Cliff Farm, Zeagle’s Rock and others.

B.W. Wells : "Tarheel Ecologist" Teacher Workshop
                                 
This new six hour workshop will be offered for teachers and NC Division of Parks and Recreation staff as a credited workshop.  Participate is limited sign up by

October 11- 8:00 p.m.       NEW B.W. Wells group camp storytelling

Open to public.  Camp fire stories about Falls Lake and B.W. Wells.
October 18 - SAT 8:00 p.m.       NEW B.W. Wells group camp B.W. Wells history talk

Open to public.  Association staff will present a program on B.W. Wells and Rock Ciff Farm.
December 6  - 9 am - noon       Adopt a Highway - Bent Road Clean Up Day

Help keep SR 1919 clean and free of trash for the public visiting the end of this dead end road.

Help prepare the trails and grounds for Heritage Day.  Numerous trail and building projects will be completed.

MARCH 28, 2009 - Saturday    B.W. WELLS HERITAGE DAY       FLYER

     9am - 5pm                
                   
History, Geology, Wildflower and history hikes.  Canoe tours, childrens activities and games.  Join us for this open grounds event, some booths and displays will be set up.
